Name: Lady Christine-Marie Aubert
Character journal name: ladychristine
Your photo-credit/PB: Clemence Poesy
Age: 20
Nationality: French
Allegiance and why: Her brother - he is the only thing she trusts.
Social Status and/or Occupation: High class. In hiding.
Brief physical description of your character: Christine is what many people call the delicate flower - she is so slender, and elegant with it, that many think she would break if you touched her. She has the blonde hair, blue eyes, and nose of her mother, a poor chambermaid who was used by her father, of whom she inherited the full lips and square face. She is taller than most, and despite her slender frame she has quite an ample chest which many a maid delighted in trying to show off when dressing her in her corsets.

Brief description of your characters history, including family: Christine was born within a world of conspiracy; Merek's mother having been passed, there was intrigue over how that had come about and even more speculation over Christine's very being. Christine did not learn of her heritage until many years later, after she had settled into life of a Count's daughter, being told only that her mother was a poor soul of lesser standing whom her father had taken a shine to. This did not matter to Christine - though she was, all in all, illegitimate her father had still seen to it that she was taken care of, loved, and spoiled with as much finery as she wanted or required.
Christine was always fond of her half brother Merek, but as he was frequently travelling she felt she missed out on getting to know him better until her later years. Even then, when she was finally beginning to get to know her brother more intimately, learning about the world from him, he left in the blink of an eye. Upset and confused, Christine turned to a rather pressing matter to distract herself - that of the prospective husband. Her father wanted her to choose a suitor by the time she was twenty. Despite her having a few years until this deadline, and though they all seemed nice enough she was not taken by any of them. As her father gradually grew more impatient Christine eventually chose a cocky young man who seemed to think he was God's gift to women, only for him to be sent to death the next week leaving Christine increasingly despairing.
The Count was no use in calming his daughter. Instead he began to ignore her completely and turn his attentions on the rising in Paris. Afraid and lost without her brother or the promise of a secure future, Christine consoled herself by continuously assuring herself Marek would return to save her from the horrors that were beginning to rise, he would not simply abandoned her...
It proved, if only a little, to be true - as soon as her father was beheaded Marek appeared to whisk her away from the line of fire and transport her to England, where they are to begin a new life.

One or two plots which you would like to play out in the community: Christine and Marek's relationship, finding a suitor, possibly being used because she's so sweet. Getting into some kind of trouble :)
